Band Eight
Use DMC Perle Cotton #8 Ecru for this band. Start this stitch one fabric thread ouside the left marking line of the sampler using a 24 inch length of perle cotton #8. Start ten fabric threads below the bottom stitches of the previous band. Your stitches will be almost entirely on top of the fabric for this row so you will need to weave the threads tails over and under the small straight stitches that are formed on the back of your work.
