Band Seven

Each grid is a Cross Stitch over two fabric threads.

This is the image of the Fern Stitches and the Chevron stitches.

This band consists of the Fern stitch row, the Chevron row, and the Medallion Row.

Skip down four fabric threads from the bottom of Band Six to begin the Fern stitch row, and the same for the Chevron row, and four more fabric threads for the Medallion Band.

For this band each square on the chart represents a Cross Stitch over two fabric threads.Please use two strands of the predominate color of floss for all the stitches of the medallion, I have been using Anchor floss color 142, substitute DMC 312. The center stitches will be on either side of your center marking thread. Use Ecru #8 perle for the Chevron and Fern Stitch rows. ©2001 Linda Fontenot, www.AmericanFolkArts.com
