Mistress Oops!

Back stitching really works!

But you can finish this doll completely with GLUE! Add 1/4 to 1/2 inch to the seam allowances. Aleene's Tacky Glue dries clear in a day or less and then you can turn your project without sewing.

Draw a pattern around your stitching using the patterns in the chart  they have a quarter inch seam allowance, ADD a bit more in the seam allowances as your draw. Place the right sides together. Glue the sides together. Let them dry overnight or a couple of hours, depends on your climate.

You will need two pencils with erasers. Turn the parts right side out with the eraser of a pencil. Just insert the eraserinside the leg, place another eraser against the outside of the leg and the inside eraser. Hold the pencil and gently push the leg right side out. You won't have to cut into your fabric for curves as the even weave fabric will unravel just enough to create ease. And with the generous seam allowances you won't have to worry about anything coming apart.

Cotton balls from the drug store can be shredded a little bit and used to stuff her. And then you can do like I do and blame her for everything that goes wrong and believe me after looking at her no one will doubt you!
