Most fobs or bracelets are wrapped with silver wire for years of wear. Some use 14 kt gold filled wire or they are strung with beading wire.
This is the sterling hook and ring with safety closure provided on most bracelets.

$45.00 This fob can be a bracelet too. It has a sterling hook and eye clasp and a safety chain. All the components are wired together with sterling silver wire that has a content of 92% silver and 8% copper. The fob has a variety of sterling beads with two large antique German white glass beads, eight pearls, two cloisonne beads and a large matching floral focal bead. It is 6 1/2 inches and that length can be adjusted.

Necklace $75.00 USD Click on the photo for a larger picture. This fob can is a 21" long sterling silver necklace, it can be doubled or worn long for your scissors. The necklace is balanced perfectly but each side of the 42 inches of sterling chain and sterling beads is a little different from the other. There are also pearls, Swarovski crystals and Swarovski pendant and sterling rings and all is wired together with sterling silver wire. Click on the photograph for close up pictures of the details. The scissor fob is a 7 1/4 inch bracelet made with sterling chain and sterling beads and Swarovski crystals. It comes with the necklace. You could put your scissors on it or any other tools you find necessary.
Bracelet/Fob It has a sterling hook and ring clasp that can replace the heart pendant to hold your scissors or other important tool. I love this set! It's so elegant and the long length keeps the scissors out of the way until I need them. 65.00 USD Sterling Silver Turquoise Bracelet Here is another arresting look. It too will draw comments. Each turquoise disk is 1 1/2 inches long and 1 inch wide. If you have ever seen turquoise in its uncut state it can look like a ceramic dish meltedand dripped onto a rock. I know that sounds strange but it looks like it melted and cooled on the rock. It shines and looks polished and the rock is dull and unremarkable. Turquoise is a mineral that can be found in sedimentary rock. It is composed of water, copper, aluminum and phosphorus. I have added large silver beads and a toggle clasp to match the elegance of these disks and also used collared silver beads to seperate the disks from each other. This bracelet is not wired but strung for flexibility. The silver guard is a large sterling chain and is three inches long with sterling claw clasp. |
