Fern Stitch

On this chart all lines represent one fabric thread.

With your threaded needle come:

• up at 1 and go down at 2,

• up at 1 again and go down at 3,

• up at 1 again and go down at 4

• up at 1.

 For the next Fern stitch

• down at 5 and come up at 6,

• down at 5 and come up at 7,

• down at 5 and repeat the entire process across the row.
